Local 18 is now conducting Area Representative Nominations for Houston and Florida positions. Nominations will be posted on all union boards and the nominations will run from Jan 15 through Jan 31, 2024. The term of this position is 2 years. Local 18 is now conducting Shop Representative Nominations. Nominations will be posted on all union boards and the election will run from January 15 through February 12, 2024. Nominations can also be emailed to the local secretary at amfalocal18secretary@gmail.

The AMFA Local 18 Officer election concluded on December 21, 2023. I would like to thank everyone that participated, as there were 193 members that cast a vote! The position of Vice President will be filled by Joey Strazzante effective after the General Membership Meeting is held on January 11, 2024.
